I’ve been getting more and more into the Rally scene lately – it’s a cool cross between onroad and offroad racing while being timed from Point A to Point B.

I’ve been researching a project with my Traxxas 4Tec 2.0 and came across a killer-looking full-scale Rally Mustang. I ordered up a body, some extra wheels and a set of generic Rally tires and the 4Tec Rally Car was born. For now I’ll be using all the stock electronics – ESC, motor, radio system and battery. It’s plenty powerful so I don’t see a need to upgrade at the moment.

While I’m wrapping up the build article, I thought I’d go ahead and drop the action video now. It was taken at the Pro-Line By The Fire event in 2019 and, while it’s not really a Rally course, it does show off the potential handling of this cool project!
