These gears are a direct replacement for the stock gear set used in both trucks new portal axles. Simply remove the stock gears and drop in the 12T/23T combo to reap the benefits of overdrive. This results in a front drive that spins faster than the rear which can significantly improve the climbing performance of your rig.
