Yeah Racing has been releasing a slew of long-arm suspension kits for many popular Tamiya kits with great results. Their latest edition is for the MF01X and promises to enhance the ability and performance of this chassis as well.
The basic ideas is this; remove the short-throw suspension bits and replace with touring-car inspired, longer-thrown parts. In essence, Yeah Racing has lengthened the suspension by 36%, adding more stability and cornering speed without modifying the track width.
Additional enhancements include ball bearings in the C-hubs and the rear hubs upgraded to a 3° of toe for added stability. The rear camber link has also been redesigned, getting it more inline with a standard touring car setup.
