SprueFest 2022 Model Contest | CompetitionX

SprueFest 2022 Model Contest | CompetitionX

On April 30th, Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove CA held their yearly SprueFest Modeling Contest. There were over 12 categories with numerous sub-categories under each, all vying for class and Best-in-Show awards.

There were quite a few heavy hitters in the sponsor department as well – Tamiya, Bandai, Hasegawa, Italeri, Academy and MRC, to name a few. In addition, there was a pretty substantial raffle where tons of prizes were given away.

We had a chance to walk around, see the entries and chat with some folks. It was a great time and I would highly suggest checking it out next year. Keep an eye out at www.spruefest.com!

Oh, and here’s some pix of the Automotive section (in random order) of the event – a ton of awesome entries!
