2012 Reedy International Touring Car Race of Champions Announcement

What started out many years ago as Mike Reedy’s vision to showcase the top drivers in the world in a format unlike any other ever used in RC racing, has grown to be one of the most anticipated and prestigious RC races anywhere in the world.

Reedy and Team Associated are proud to announce that the 2012 Reedy International Touring Car Race of Champions will return to Norcal Hobbies in Union City, CA.

The format and schedule for the event will remain as it has for many years:

Thursday, May 24 Controlled Practice By Heat
Friday, May 25 Controlled Practice By Heat, Invitational Racing
Saturday May 26 Open Qualifying, Invitational Racing
Sunday May 27 Open Qualifying and Mains, Invitational Racing

In addition to the Invitational class, three Open classes will be offered – Modified,13.5 non-ramping, and 17.5 non-ramping. Each Open class driver is limited to a maximum of two classes.
