In Part 1 of this multi-part build series, we open up Bag A of our Tamiya Formula E TC-01 and get to building the lower front suspension arms. I know it doesn’t seem like a huge step for a video, but it was surprisingly tricky – more than I expected.
We start the video with some info on what tools you’ll need, some hop ups that Tamiya provided with the build and the electronics and wheels/tires we selected to be using in the build.
There was also a slight problem with our GoPro during the video. I didn’t figure it out until after all the footage was shot – a corrupt SD card was the culprit. I tried to salvage what I could – I think it turned out ok.
Enjoy the video.
