As I mentioned last month, CompetitionX would be feeling the pinch from some personal things I have going on. As you can see from the stats, Unique and Visits took a cut, however the Pages and Hits are up; basically meaning people are coming back to the site even though new content for this month was a little lacking.
Now to explain why. In a nutshell, I am no longer a full-time employee with Maplegate Media. I will continue to be working with them on a freelance basis, but my normal everyday duties have been slashed … the main reason being my relocation from Connecticut back to sunny SoCal. Yup, I’m back, and will be working full-time on CompetitionX to make it a world-class web site packed with all the stuff you’ve been finding on it – PLUS a lot more reviews. Because it took a little over a week for my wife and I to pack, drive, unpack and get things settled (sort of), CompetitionX was on hold for that time. I’m guessing (and hoping) that is why the stats this month took a drop.
The good news is, though, that I will be WAY more in touch with the RC community, the tracks and the local drivers to bring you some really cool things.
